The Marian Missionaries of the Holy Cross gratefully announces that last June 9, 2019, two brothers made their perpetual profession of vows at the MMHC Sancta Crux Chapel in Marikina City.
Br. Julius John Angelo Ma. Dayandante and Br. Claude Alvin Philip Ma. Umali made the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience in perpetuity in the presence of Fr. Philip Ma. dela Cruz, MMHC, Superior General and Mass presider; other members of the congregation; family members and guests of the professandi.
Both brothers completed their pre-theology studies at the Mater Dei College Seminary and proceeded to complete their Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree at the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila. Currently, both of them are assigned in Negros Occidental. Br. Julius is assigned at MMHC Seminary in Silay as Assistant Pastoral Director and Br. Claude is assigned at Murcia as Economer and Assistant Administrator of Talan-awon ni Maria Shrine.
The celebration also coincided with the 28th Presbyteral Anniversary celebration of the Fr. Philip Ma. dela Cruz, MMHC.
